Nanaimo Counselling Services

Nanaimo Counselling Services is the private practice of Mark Giesbrecht, Registered Clinical Counsellor. NCS is currently not accepting new clients and is on temporary hiatus until such time that Mark has completed his current studies and has returned to private practice.

FYI: Mark has been practicing psychotherapy since 1995. He holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counselling and current memberships with both the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

Although Mark started his career working with youth at Children’s Hospital and the New Westminster School District he went on to hold positions in the community as an Addictions Counsellor and then a Family Therapist before beginning a private practice in Vancouver in 2001. In 2007 Mark moved his family to Nanaimo and continued in private practice till 2010 when he began university studies on a further degree.

Mark is currently providing Individual, Couple and Family Therapy on a very limited part-time bases pro bono.
